Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp

Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp is a boutique safari retreat designed for an exclusive and intimate Tanzanian adventure. With only 8 guest tents, including a 2-tent family unit, the camp offers a personalized experience in the heart of one of Tanzania’s most iconic safari destinations. Each spacious tent features en-suite facilities with a shower, vanity desk, and flush toilet. Guests can choose between king-size beds, twin beds, or triple configurations based on their preferences. 

The camp’s lounge area invites you to relax with a complimentary cup of Tanzanian coffee or tea while sharing safari stories with fellow travelers. Delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are freshly prepared daily by the camp’s skilled chefs and served in the elegant dining tent. In the evenings, unwind by the “Bush TV” campfire, a quintessential safari tradition when weather permits.

Nestled on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, just inside the park boundaries, the camp’s location allows for early game drives into the crater, providing unparalleled access to this UNESCO World Heritage Site before the crowds arrive. The Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife haven, home to over 25,000 animals, including the elusive black rhino, lions, elephants, and a diversity of other species. From the camp, guests can also enjoy breathtaking views of the crater rim and surrounding landscapes.
